Just then, Sam’s cell rang. The caller ID showed it was Jax.

“Hello?” Sam asked.

“Just letting you know they are running more tests and aren’t letting anyone in with him for the next few hours. They’re concerned with his punctured lung,” Jax explained.

“Have they said how bad they think it is?” Sam asked.

“No. But by the look on their faces, I’d say it’s bad,” Jax replied.

“Okay. Keep me posted. I’ll stay here and get some more rest,” Sam replied.

“Just remember our talk,” Jax cautioned.
