Chapter 5

Marcellus told Alex to grab a cup of water from the bathroom please and bring it back to the room. Alex did as he was told, and Marcellus dipped his hand into the water. With his powers, Marcellus made the water dance and turn into bubbles in his hand. Alex eyes widened in awe as he watched in amazement.

“How are you doing that?” Alex asked, awestruck.

Marcellus smiled. “It’s my powers. I can control the elements, and I think most of my gifts keep coming as I grow or something.”

Alex excitement grew as he watched Marcellus play with the water. The water formed shapes and patterns, swirling around Marcellus hand like a magical dance.
