Chapter 145

Alexa's POV

After the long ride, I have finally landed at their pack.  

I get a cab and head to the estate where my werewolf mates live. Looking at the street, it feels different. Unlike the vampire's place, it actually smells like home. Seeing my kind on the streets after a long time gives me so much joy. 

For a moment, I am not thinking about my mates or anything that would make me depressed. I was just thinking about how I missed it here and its beauty. 

Obviously, the streets were kind of empty. With the vampire gone, a good part of the population was gone. The werewolves that were present were trying to fill up space and get the country running as soon as they could. 

This time, it took less than twenty five minutes to reach the estate. A feat that normally takes thirty minutes to accomplish and takes over an hour thirty minutes to accomplish.
