Alexa’s POV 

“Well, to preserve our secrets. This is the same thing we will want from you if you ever get to be our mate and live with us for long.” 

I bash my eyelids several times in a second, shaking my head. “I don't get what you mean. Tell me, you don't mean executing me after a while of staying with you guys?” 

Dustin gives a cold, lingering smile, smirking as well. “Calm down! I don't mean that. If you ever come to know about our secret, we request you to keep it as a secret and not let even a bit of it spill out to others.” 

“Ohhhh!” I force in a deep breath with my heart still beating so heavily. How can a nice, lovely lady like Maurin just be executed like that? 

I return back to Dustin. “Please don't kill her, save her.” My eyes begin to form tears and I pull up my hands in supplication. “Please! If you really love me as a mate?” I look up to him, soaked with pity. I'm pretty sure he'll be the most heartless person on earth
