Chapter 94. Surprise Appearance

Genevieve’s POV

It’s been a week since Nolan’s mum died. I haven’t seen or heard from either him or Owen. I tried going over to his place but his house was locked. I was so worried about both of them but all I got from Owen was a text which assured me that they were both still part of the living. I understood how Nolan felt losing his mum and having his hopes dashed in that way. If something happened to my mum, I don’t know what I would do. What I couldn’t understand was where Owen was.

He hadn’t called me for the past one week. The last conversation we had alone bothered me a great deal. He said I chose him because he was my mate and I had no other choice but that isn’t true at all. I liked them both for a very long time and although it was hard to figure out my feelings and choose between them, I finally realized my true feelings. My affection for Owen was totally different from Nolan’s. With Owen, I felt love, trust, friendship, and desire altogether.
