I drove myself to school today. I didn’t let the driver do so like usual because all I wanted was to keep my mind preoccupied which was why I decided to drive. It became harder to fall asleep every night after my mum died. Her face was literally everywhere. I felt helpless and all I could do was drown myself in alcohol to stop the pain. Making up with Owen also helped a lot. I can’t imagine having to go through this without having anyone by my side.

I parked my car in the school parking lot and rested my head on the window for a while having second thoughts on whether to go in or not.
