Rune immediately crouched before him, holding his shoulder and then letting the boys face fall against his chest. the boys breath was heavy, and cracked. Rune touched the Laron's chest and he yelped.

He looked up at Kyra, "He got beaten up." he was sure she could see that from his torn and dirty clothes, but she wouldnt know there were a few bones broken. Did they still beat up children this badly?

"We need to take him to the hospital." Kyra said.

But Laron shook his head with effort , "No, not hospitals. He'll find me and kill me."
