Chapter 34. Make Your Pick

“Don’t come any closer or I drain your blood!”

It was the chief of Saxson village whom Ruth turned into his worst nightmare. Becoming a vampire is the last thing on his mind but Ruth changed everything when she bit him.

In order to complete the transition into a vampire, the person must then consume a significant amount of human blood, at least a sip's worth, within the next twenty-four hours, or else they will die. Let’s just say the chief has been busy all these while drinking the blood of his victims. He can’t resist the blood lust nor does he want to die.

Scott glared at him and then opens his mouth to speak. “What makes you think you can kill me?”

“You may think you are a god but there are other ways I can break you.”

The chief’s tunic was stained in blood. Scott can see that but he never knew that someone like the chief will embrace his new fate. He thought he would have ended his life rather than allowing his full transition into being a vampire.
