Chapter 35. Destroyed

The castle is ruined, plunders taken and warlocks slaughtered in the fit of Ares’ fury. Ozenzo is outnumbered as he has been surrounded by the gods. He had no choice but to surrender. “It’s over Ozenzo,” said Ares. Ares then turned to the other gods and instructed them to take Ozenzo captive and the rest of the warlocks that have surrendered.

“This is beyond been over, Ares.”

Ozenzo never expected the defeat. He was so confident in the fortified castle. But Ares has proven to him that even the most fortified castle can be breached.

Thanks to the ways of the mortals he learned over the years while in the sky with the other gods.

Ares glances at Ozenzo and then said to the gods, “Get him out of here.”

Hastily, two gods sheathed their swords and dragged Ozenzo to his feet. He has been on his knee all this while and so is the rest of the warlocks who chose to surrender other than embracing death by Ares’ sword.
