Chapter 77. Hounds of Hell
Hellhounds are ballistic and maniacal canine-like beasts of the underworld and hell, specifically hell, which are known to serve demons, Lucifer or the god of the underworld, Hades. Hellhounds are ferocious, terrifying entities that inspire fear in humans and souls who dare to escape hell, demons, and even the Elders.
With time they became tasked with collecting the souls of humans. In such circumstances, hellhounds can only be seen by those whom they have come for or chose to be invisible to all, making them a sort of reaper of the damned. Hellhounds can work with witches who summoned them from hell, usually acting as foot soldiers, guard dogs, or assassins. According to Lucifer, no demon knows the hounds better than him.
