Chapter 82. Pathway to Hell

“Where is this place and what are you doing to my mind?” Scott might hear the sirens but that’s not enough proof for him to believe he’s home. After all, many strange things have been happening since he arrives in No Man’s Land. His thought now is that Isoh is messing with his mind.

Isoh leans forward with a smile. “Don’t tell me you can’t recognize your home!”

“This is not my home, where the hell are we?”

“You have been seeking a way to get home over a year now and now that you are finally home you act dump as if you’re not home.”

“One thing I know and have read about demons is that they can be deceiving and ticklish just like the serpent, the devil.”

“‘Serpent!”’ Isoh rose to her feet with haste. “Is that what you mortals call Lucifer around here?” Certainly, this is the first time Isoh is hearing Lucifer being referred to as a serpent. She has heard people call him all sorts of names but not a serpent.

“That doesn’t matter.”

“Very
