Chapter 84. Sanity
Winona’s throat felt dry and tight when she was about to speak.
“I’ll call the nurse!” the man exclaimed excitedly.
However, before the man left the room, Winona immediately intercepted him by tugging at his sleeve.
“Ri-Richard...” said Winona.
“Mr. Lerroy? He is fine. He’s in his mansion resting,” he replied, immediately understanding Winona’s question.
The man immediately left the hospital room to call a nurse, and Winona could only stare at the ceiling in silence. She didn’t know why she was still alive. Remembering last night’s incident, Winona still felt very scared. She fell from the helicopter, and she remembered how Richard jumped from the helicopter next door and, with a big light, pushed Winona’s body aside.
