Chapter 92. Broken Heart
“Okay,” said Winona with a bright smile.
“I’m going to my room in a minute,” Richard said.
“I will wait,” Winona replied.
Winona then went downstairs with the help of a cane and headed to the kitchen. She then opened the refrigerator and saw that there was juice in it, and she immediately took two glasses and brought them to a small table near the garden. The fresh juice box was placed in the middle. For some reason, Winona felt compelled to organize it, even though it was just a juice box and two ordinary glasses.
Not long after, Richard came down from his room and looked for Winona in the kitchen.
“Richard! I’m here!” cried Winona, waving her hand. Her flowing hair, though a mess, made Winona look prettier, and Richard was stunned. However, Richard did his best not to look like that. He just smiled and came closer. As much as Richard tried not to look stunned, the smile remained on his face, as if it had been imprinted and could not be changed.
