Chapter 43. Single's Fate

Selena's sad face turned into a happy one upon hearing those words. "I will!"

"Gio, you can't take her!" Gio protested.

Zidant paid no attention to his assistant's objections, only focusing on Selena.

"But if you want to come with me, you have to promise! To stay by my side and never stray from me," Zidant said.

"Of course. I'll always be by your side," Selena replied.

Zidant's hands gently caressed Selena's cheeks. "Alright then. Get ready, don't bring too many clothes. If you run out, you can buy more."

"Okay," Selena said with a happy smile.

"Go to your room!"

Upon hearing the command, Selena immediately ran to her room on the first floor.

"Gio!" Gio continued to protest Zidant's decision.

Zidant looked at his assistant. "What?"

"You're taking Selena! That's very dangerous, she's just an ordinary person. If she enters our clan's territory, won't it become even more dangerous?"
