Chapter 64. Gripping
Selena had spent three gloomy days in her room, ignoring messages and calls from Robby and Arnav, also known as Cleo. Her mixed feelings, coupled with deep guilt, made her want to avoid everyone out there. Selena felt isolated in her dark world, trapped in feelings of sadness and confusion. She could only cry in her room, unable to say anything. Even when Selena wanted to explain what had happened, Zidant refused to talk to her, leaving her increasingly perplexed.
Meanwhile, Zidant grew more emotional with each passing day. After the incident at the minimarket, he remained in a tense state. He felt frustrated and angry, and unfortunately, his emotional turmoil was directed at all the mansion employees. The staff under him felt the impact, and they began to blame Selena for their boss's worsening behaviour.
For these three days, the mansion was tense, and all the employees continued to look at her cynically because they believed Selena was the cause of Zidant's worsening mood. S
