This was the day Topaz was going to meet Adams' mum. She was so excited because he had told her a lot about his family, especially his mum.

Every month, his family had a small gathering where they meet up with each other for brunch and see how everyone is doing and it was also a way to bond with the extended family.

She loved this type of reunion, unfortunately, she'd never had a big family nor had she witnessed such a family gathering and she just hoped she would fit in.
