Chapter 45

Days had passed, weeks had passed, hell months had even passed and finally, Topaz was ready to become her boss. She was waiting for Michelson to reach a certain age before she finally makes her grand opening. Michelson was already 5 months and she couldn't believe she'd already been married to Adams for a year now. She met Adams when she was already close to her second month of pregnancy and that was when they got married she couldn't forget that fateful day in the hospital when he brought up the proposal now look at them, from a contract wedding to having feelings for each other. Her memory took her back to last weekend when they celebrated their first anniversary.

Flashback

It was an early Friday morning and Topaz was up already, sitting on the bed and searching on the internet for various ideas for gifts to give to Adam on their anniversary tomorrow. He was in the bathroom having his bath as he had an early morning meeting. He came out in his bathrobe while wiping the
