Chapter 52

Topaz woke up from her sleep panting and breathing heavily from the nightmare she just had. Immediately she sat down, a nauseous feeling hit her and she rushed immediately to the bathroom where she emptied all the contents in her stomach. She hadn't eaten yesterday throughout yesterday and this morning so why was she vomiting? Probably because of all the crying and sobbing she had undergone. She rinsed her mouth and tried freshening up but she felt instantly weak and tired. The constant crying and lamenting had drained her as she climbed on the bed and drifted off to sleep again.

Adams was in his office looking at the pictures of Topaz on his phone from the pictures of their honeymoon to the present ones. He couldn't believe that innocent face that he kissed every day was capable of doing much to him.
