Chapter 47

Topaz did a double take and nearly collapsed as she went pale looking at that face. Her gaze was fixed on that particular spot as she froze. Was it one of her dreams or was she seeing him face-to-face right now?

" Topaz! Babe! Babe" Adams shook her vigorously and she turned around and looked at him.

" Are you alright love?" he asked her noticing that she was not herself. Topaz turned back to that same spot but he was no longer there. It couldn't be a dream, she had seen his face clearly and he was standing right there looking at her with a dangerous look.

" Umm, what..er! I need water" Topaz stammered and Adams took Topaz immediately from the crowd and into the kitchen where he sat her down on the kitchen counter and gave her a glass of water and watched her drink it all down in a split second. He noticed that she was quivering and looked pale.

" Topaz! Talk to me are you alright?" Adams asked her again.

" I'm fine. It's just fatigue" Topaz told him but
