Chapter 17

Haley's POV

It has been three days since mom underwent the surgery. Today she was getting discharged and wanted to start looking for my wedding dress immediately. She is so happy that I am getting married to her high school best friend's son.

Life with Ivan has not been so hard. You can say that I am happy. Even though he comes home late, I get a chance to enjoy being in the house a lot with Maria. I hate staying idle. I do not mean that he needs to fire Maria so that I can get to work but at least he can tell her you allow her to help that. The housekeeper is so hardworking and refuses my help when I offer her. One thing that I told her is that she should never cook dinner for us since I can cook for ourselves, my little family even though it consists of just Ivan and I.

Today, I wore a black jeans, a red crop top and white sneakers. As usual I had applied less amount of makeup up.
