Chapter 5

Haley’s POV

I ran to the mall before Peige decided to blow up my phone. Thankfully I had finished eating the ice cream cause I am sure that it could have been all over my clothes therefore leaving stains. As I neared the mall, I saw Peige standing at the parking lot moving from one place to another and I knew that she was angry. She hates waiting. She is always punctual therefore she expects everyone to be just like her.

"Hello." I said as a whisper cause I was afraid of how she would behave.

"You!" She shouted, making people who were passing by look at us weirdly. 

"How could you? Do you know how long I have waited for you?" She said.

I was so afraid because I did not know what to do so that she could leave me alone.

"I am sorry." 

"No you are not! Wait! Did something happen to aunty?"

"Is that why you were late? Is she okay now? Can I do anything?"
