Chapter 101. Hard Conversation

"When we got back, we told them when tests would end. We had too many things going on, and I needed to focus on school. But we decided to tell you both tonight that I just...... My mind feels like it’s made of Jell-O because I’m so tired. This was supposed to be secret, and we didn’t want you to find out this way, but we did want you to know first."

I take a deep breath and slowly move toward Nash, who looks weak and vulnerable. I quietly put my hand in his, and I don’t care if people look at us funny.

"I know for sure about this." I stand my ground and tighten my grip on his hand. "I can decide for myself, and Nash has nothing to do with it, so don’t put it that way. It’s just as much his choice as it is mine." I nod, trying to figure out how they feel now, but they both still seem pretty sure of what they think.

"I know this is hard and will take a long time. But don’t take it out on Nash, because we both agreed on this choice.&
