Chapter 136. Chaos

“You’ve got this!” Someone from the crowd shouted and I felt a shot of electricity ran through me. But I wished that it was enough to get me started. I just did not know how to start. 

I did not know what to say or what to do, so I just stood there, my face getting red and heated. But then her voice whispered…and man, I knew it all too well. It was Aria. I felt like I could finally breathe as if I had been underwater for hours. 

My thumping heart got a bit calmer and the nerves quieted down a bit too. “Speak,” She whispered again, causing goosebumps to rise on my skin. And suddenly…just like that, it was like I was shoved out of the driving seat of my body, my wolf taking control over me. 

I did not shift or anything, and I was still very conscious, but it was like I was a puppet—just watching everything and not being in control.
