Chapter 214. Five Thousand Dollars

I released the guy from the hug and headed to the bouncer. I felt like everything was aligning and falling into place. I felt like life was finally smiling down on me and I loved the feeling. 

But I could not help but feel a bit of anxiety just simmering underneath it all. But I think that was something that I would never be able to get rid of. It was going to be a part of me for a very long time, or maybe even forever.
