Chapter 216. New Hair, New Me

We got down from the car and the dark alpha led the way. 

I helped my friends out of the car and we followed the guy until we were inside of the mansion.

I could not help but smile at the looks of awe on the faces of my friends, but at the same time, I also could not help but feel nervous about this being a bad idea.

“Rue, can I talk to you for a second?” Darco called out and I left my friends behind and jogged towards the dark alpha.

When I reached him, I stopped and maintained the same speed he was walking on. “Yeah? Is everything alright? If it’s about my friends, I know. You have already pointed it out more than once. If it all goes to sh*t, it’s my mess to clean.” I tried my best to keep my voice a bit low so they couldn’t hear me. 

“It is about your friends, and I’m done with that. I’m talking about the fact that they would have to stay here for a day or two because I need to set up houses and jobs for them.”
