Chapter 296. It All Works out

I stood up from the floor and dusted myself. I was fine, it was not like he had shoved me hard or anything. I was fine, really. But I just did not expect him to put his hands on me like that. 

I mean, I kind of understood though. I knew that it was something that had happened in the heat of the moment and that he did not mean it, but it was still something that was going to haunt my mind for a while. 

But again, I understood. 

Darco scoffed. “Hey, buddy,” He said, catching Zach’s attention. And just when the guy turned to him, he landed a solid punch that had the Alpha on the floor. His nose started bleeding immediately and he cursed loudly as he tried to reach for it. “You can hit me all you want, but touch her again like that and you will regret it because I will kill you.” 

Zach was quiet as he held his broken nose for a few seconds and then he started to laugh, but it was more of a sad sound coming from his mouth. That was when I realized tha
