As we entered the station, the atmosphere shifted from the calm of the outside world to the controlled chaos within the precinct. Officers hurriedly shuffled paperwork, radios crackled with updates, and the distant hum of conversations filled the air.
Approaching the front desk, I hesitated, uncertainty gnawing at me. Vince, however, remained resolute, his jaw set with determination.
“We need to report a case of stalking and invasion of privacy,” he said, placing the anonymous letter on the counter.
