Chapter 33. Crimson
"Another," I said.
I drank again. And again. One glass turned to two. Then three. I stopped counting.
An hour passed.
He still hadn't returned.
"I hope he finishes the job though. Otherwise, I will have him beheaded."
I muttered to myself and stood up, wobbling slightly.
"I have to get out of here for my own safety."
My legs didn't feel like they were mine. I walked toward the exit, barely holding myself together.
Each step was heavier than the last. My head spun. My vision blurred.
I felt my surroundings tilt, then I collapsed.
Everything was spinning. The lights above swirled like stars caught in water and my limbs felt numb.
"Fuck."
I cursed.
Suddenly, I noticed shadows of men surrounding me with wicked grins on their faces.
They were naked and jerking to me as countless hands stretched to my body and tore my dress into shreds.
