Maggie felt Eldan jerk her back by her collar. The arrow flew past her right into the eye of one of the slaves.

“What is wrong with you?!” He asked. “Do you want to get yourself killed?” It was the first time he showed his anger and Maggie was slightly taken aback by the feral look on his face.
