I got into my car and drove home. I still didn't know what to do. Should I tell Lena the truth, or should I keep Carla's words to myself? I figured the best option was to talk to Lena; she would be upset if I hid such important details. In her room, Carla and I discussed how she would ruin my life and Lena's. Lena couldn't be left out of this.
I arrived home, and the maid was in the living room, wanting to talk.
"Mr. Dean, sorry to bother you, but I couldn't help but see Lena in the house today. I know she's in the room now. I don't know what kind of relationship you two have, and I don't want to intrude, but I heard Lena crying. I didn't want to interrupt, but I thought I should let you know."
"Lena was crying? Why? Did she get scared? Did she regret it?"
"It's okay. Thanks," I smiled and walked towards my room.
