Chapter 77. Revenge

The doctors told me that Lena was sedated and wouldn't wake up for a few hours. I went to the police station to see Zed. I was sure he would want to kill me on sight, but I didn't care. I told him he wouldn't come out on top, but he didn't believe me. I warned him, and I kept my word.

The police said they had evidenced they wanted to show me. In fact, I had no right to see what evidence they found. Lena was the mother of my children, but she was no longer my wife. Lena's parents could access the evidence, but I had contacts in the police that allowed me to access the evidence.

I arrived at the police station and walked to the reception, where my beta was waiting for me.

"You know I shouldn't show you this, Dean. You know," he reminded.

"I know. Don't worry. I'll give you a reward for what you're doing, buddy. Now tell me, what evidence have they found that incriminates Zed?"
