I called Mariana Clayton to take care of Lena. She was a psychiatrist, and I had incredible references about her. Mariana had attended to my mother years ago when she suffered a nervous breakdown. Mariana excelled in her role. She was pleasant and friendly. I thought Lena could trust her.
I knew Lena felt uncomfortable with the police and doctors interrogating her, but it was necessary. Lena had accumulated pain and needed to talk about it. I knew she didn't trust me and wouldn't express her feelings, as our last fight had been tough for both of us. I hoped she would trust me in the future.
I met Mariana in a café to talk about Lena. She was a lone wolf. She didn't belong to my pack. Usually, I never asked for favors from other packs, but Lena needed Mariana's help.
