Alex's POV
I found myself overwhelmed with a whirlwind of emotions. Anger, fear, and uncertainty wrestled for dominance within me. The weight of responsibility for Nathan's safety bore heavily on my shoulders, and doubts gnawed at my resolve. It was a turbulent storm of thoughts that threatened to consume me.
