Selene could cut the tension in the car with a knife. She was not even sure a knife would cut through it. She might need a machete instead. She could not understand why everyone had a frown on their face. Sure, they had not been able to fulfill the actual purpose they came to the Eirini Pack for, but she only expected her father to be upset about that.

She had no idea why Michael and Timothy were also obviously upset about something. They should be happy for her. She found her mate without having to look too hard. Even her father should be happy what he made her follow him for was accomplished.
