Selene held her mate’s hands sadly as bags were being loaded into the car they had come in. They were supposed to stay at the Eirini Pack for a few days while her father discussed with the alpha about the contract they had to look over. But the alpha in question turned out to be her fated mate.

Her father could not conclude the business he came for. They had only slept over the night before and were returning to Moonedge Pack today. She was the only one that had accomplished what she came to the pack for.

Her father had been in a foul mood since she found her mate the previous day. She was worried he was angry that his business plans got canceled since they had to leave to be able to speak to the elders and know their next course of action.
