I stood outside the meeting room, greeting the investors as they passed by me. It was just a formality, but I always made it a point to be courteous. Knowing and being polite to the other investors had its perks.

As I greeted them, my mind wandered to Keira. The moment she sauntered into the meeting room with Kane, I could feel my heart do backflips in my chest. She was absolutely stunning and I could not take my eyes of her.
