Chapter 111
I fell to the ground and yelled out when Blake grabbed my ankle and pulled me across the floor. I turned around as he was pulling me and dug the heel of my free foot into his wrist. He released me and I scrambled up. I spotted the table behind me and I jumped up into it.
I took a deep breath and threw myself forward, catching hold of the light that was hanging in the middle of the ceiling. I prayed that it would hold my weight as I wrapped my legs around Blake’s neck. I let go of the light and threw my body to the side, taking Blake to the floor with me. I grabbed his wrist and twisted his hand painfully and I slammed a leg across his throat, trapping him to the ground and cutting off his breathing.
Blake struggled in my hold and I grunted, trying to keep him down long enough to knock him unconscious from the lack of oxygen. Blake struggled like mad, and I could feel my grip getting weaker. I swore under my breath and tightened my hold on Blake’s wrist. A few seconds lat
