Chapter 67
"Last time you saw each other you shot him," Blake reminded me. "I'm surprised he's not trying to kill you."
"He deserved it," I spat.
Blake looked at James. "You can go."
James nodded and he got back into the police car and drove off. "Thank god," I sighed.
"You're angry," Blake said. "Why?"
"Try being stuck in a car with him!" I scowled.
"Let's go inside," Blake said and gently took my arm. He didn't trust me not to lunge at Kent. "I know this makes you uncomfortable, so just do you as your told and this will be the worst it will get." Blake nudged me forward and I gritted my teeth but walked.
"Always causing problems," Kent tutted as I walked past him. "You should have died that night."
"Daisy!" Blake yelled, but he couldn't grab me in time as I yanked away from him and ran up to Kent, aiming an expert kick to his face. Kent fell to the ground with a thud and I pinned him down, attacking him with punches.
