Chapter 75
"Get up," he said and grabbed my arm. He handcuffed my arms behind my back and then pushed me out of the room. We didn't go far, only down the hall and into a white room with hospital beds and medical equipment. It stank of antiseptic and bleach.
"Is this her?" A middle aged woman asked, walking up to us in a white lab coat.
Jasper nodded.
"Uncuff her, Jasper," the woman frowned. "You're treating her like a criminal!"
"She is," Jasper shrugged.
"You've done worse," the woman said and Jasper unlocked the handcuffs. "Hello, Daisy, I'm Madeline. I'm going to do your medical assessment."
I frowned. "You what?"
"My father has ordered that you have a full medical work up," Jasper said.
"What? Fuck off," I snapped and stepped back when Madeline pulled a needle out of her pocket. "No way."
"It would be easier if you didn't resist," Madeline said.
