Sleep had been eluding Elena since her father was arrested. Her eyes were on the night sky. Fabian was having a bath. She listened to the hooting of night owls. She hadn’t seen it coming–her father's arrest. She had thought that she had finally found a way to prove to her father the Rebecca was up to no good. Instead her father was in a holding cell for the death of a boy that had happened seven years ago.
Leo’s confinement had hit hard hardest. Like him, she had believed that the little boy’s death was an accident. Little did she know that her parents had covered it up. She still couldn’t believe that they had gone that far. They had always said that they maintained a strict approach towards the staff to ensure that the staff did not disrespect them.
