Chapter 110. Everything Will End for Me

Two weeks later.

Getting out of bed made Jessie feel worn out. For a few days, this was how she had been feeling. She stepped onto the chilly floor and looked at the time. Jessie first noticed these symptoms of sickness four days ago after meeting Taylor; she felt woozy, lethargic, and like she wanted to throw up.

Jessie believed she had the flu. Though she kept telling herself she would be better in a few days, she wasn't. 

"Have this." Din gave her a cup of water and some medication for the headache she had been complaining about. She took it from him and placed it in her mouth. "Are you sure you don't want to visit the hospital? You have been feeling tired for days now." 

"Everything is fine with me. You should leave for work."
