Chapter 31. Sisterly Reunion

Jessie placed her phone on the table with care. Sierra caught her gaze. "That is my closest friend. Do you have a best friend?" she asked.

Sierra shook her head. "What do you think my age is?" She asked.

"Sierra, believe me, no one is too old to have a best friend. I'm 26 years old and my dearest friend is still at my side and we have been together since we were just kids."

"I'm 25 years old and have never had one. My only best buddies are Din and Kelvin. James too. Except for Henry. We have a strained relationship. He doesn't get along with anyone, only his wife. It's as if she had him under her control."
