Chapter 7. Please Hear Me Out, Mr. D'Amelio

The annoying sound of my alarm clock ringing was what woke me up the next day, I struggled to reach it from my bed and flung it across the room causing it to smash on the wall and shatter into a million pieces. I groaned as my head reacted to the loud sound of the clock smashing against the wall, it was probably a hangover.

Sadie and I still went for a celebratory drink last night, to celebrate coming out of Alessio's mansion alive. That was a record broken, no one ever snuck into his mansion and came out hale and healthy, they either never returned or returned with a few broken bones. I pulled the sheets over my head to block the rays of sunlight that pierced through the closed curtains but it didn't help much.

Left with no choice, I got up from bed and went to have a cold shower to calm my banging head.

Walking out of the washroom, I was greeted by my ringing phone and looked at the screen to see it was Chris calling, took him long enough.
