“Good evening, Mr. Bridgertons; I’d like you to meet Ms. Chloe Venin, our new business partner,” The stockholder introduced her at the same time Chloe entered the conference.

Leon stopped; that woman looked familiar to him. He stood up and approached Chloe.

“Good evening, Mr. Bridgertons. You seem surprised to see me again.” Chloe greeted him with a smile as she held out her hand.

Leon ignored her hand. “Nice to see you again, Ms. Chloe,” he answered without even paying attention to her handshake.

Chloe was disappointed by Leon’s actions. She didn’t say anything. Instead, she sat on a chair. “So... let’s start the meeting?”

Leon signaled to his secretary to start the meeting. He doesn’t want to be with Chloe for a long time, especially since he knows that his new business partner is attracted to him.
