Leon waited outside Celine's room for several hours, nervously flipping the phone in his fingers since it seemed the doctor hadn't called to ask whether he may speak with Celine.

When Elise arrived, Leon got up and greeted her before she got there.

"Elise, tell her that I badly need to talk to her... please. I'm going crazy waiting here,” he said with pleading eyes.

Even though she was upset with him for blaming her earlier, she still felt sympathy for Leon. She nodded, "Alright, I'll tell her."

Leon sighed. "Thank you."

Elise entered Celine's room without saying a word. Leon was still peering inside, daring Celine to get a glimpse of him, but his wife seemed to avoid looking at him.
