A few days later, Leon returned to focusing on work. He’d already squandered a lot of time and knew he shouldn’t be doing this; he needed to finish the investigation into Celine’s parents. In order to get ahead of her by revealing this to Celine, he needs to be able to defend Celine against Travis.

Leon immediately let Damian into the office because they had something important to talk about.

“How is your information search going?” Leon asked seriously.

“Um, I didn’t get everything. But I know it’s enough for some information you want to know.“ Damian handed over an envelope.

Leon frowned as he accepted the envelope and opened it.

He stopped at what he saw. It was a photo of Travis’ father and Celine’s father. They are happily holding hands in the photo, on a piece of paper. On a scrap of paper, Travis’ father wrote a letter to Carlos, Celine’s father, in which he expressed his anger at Carlos’ betrayal.
