Chapter 5

As Leon prevented the door from shutting, Celine's eyes widened. I had a feeling! It's not nice to play with my wild spouse, she thought to herself.

"It's better to sleep after a bath," Leon says as he walks into the bathroom.

"Then take a bath first-" Celine was about to say when Leon seized her and leaned against the wall. "Much better if you will accompany me..."

When Celine felt the warmth of Leon's breath on her ear, she sighed. " Leon..."

"I love hearing my name in your seductive voice..." Leon muttered as his middle finger moved down to my shoulder.

Celine bit her lips to suppress the groan, but that just increased Leon's hunger.

"Your agitated expression turns me on..."

Leon's fingertips on Celine's shoulder raised to elevate her bent face.

"I want you, Celine White Bridgerton..."

He is speaking the truth... I can see passion in his eyes, and if I look in the mirror now, I'm sure my own do!

Leon's mouth... It's quite kissable...

Celine's long wait is ended as Leon's lips lightly brush against hers. It's so soft... tasting every nook and cranny of the lips.

And since it was new to Celine, she didn't anticipate Leon to be kind... Celine never anticipated such tenderness from her husband, who is a deadly assassin and king of the Underworld.

"Undress me..." Leon murmured this in between kisses.

Celine's hands raised, hypnotized by the kiss, and unbuttoned Leon's long sleeves.

It didn't stop there... Celine drags her finger over his naked chest, the source of Leon's mental breakdown.

The delicate kiss was impetuous and curious, and Celine reacted in like.

Leon's hands on Celine's chin continued to slide down her neck... until they came to rest on the robe strap. 

"Ahh ..." When Leon's tongue erupts into Celine's lips, his hand lines every inch of her curve.

But as Leon touched Celine's scar, she was shocked and trembling... The passion that had engulfed her dissipated at that instant...

No! I can't stay in the past! That is no longer the case! Celine reminded herself that the torment she endured at the hands of the individuals who abducted her is difficult to forget.

She tries to forget about it and concentrate on Leon's kiss and touch, but she doesn't expect him to stop.

Leon signed as he kissed Celine on the cheek. It nearly kills him to stop, but if he continues, he will kill himself.

Leon came to a halt as he sensed Celine's shudder.

Celine was perplexed when Leon turned her around and switched on the shower.

Leon unfastened Celine's robe, exposing the scar to him. He massages and licks it tenderly.

"Doesn't it still hurt?" Leon's voice was soft. He had already begged Erza to find a method to remove it, but Celine refused to display her body to anybody.

"It heals..." Celine said softly. The wound has long healed, but the scars it left on her life are still visible. The scar, on the other hand, will leave an indelible mark on her.

"I promise to remove this scar from your life..." Leon muttered and wrapped his arms around Celine.

Celine couldn't say anything... Leon has no idea what she is going through... They never get the chance to be close throughout the fast year... Celine isolated herself from him, so they never got to know one other...

It was the start of a new chapter in Leon and Celine's life. The latter has grown more open about her emotions.

But, since Leon is preoccupied with his duties as a mafia leader and CEO, Celine is forced to speak with Luke on occasion.

Luke is the only person with a clean history, hence he is the only regular person in Leon's life, according to Celine.

"Luke, I'm bored..." Celine commented once while on the phone.

"Ha, ha, ha!" I didn't expect to hear that from you!" Luke answers sarcastically.

"Huh, I was expecting Leon to ask me out, but he never did! Your brother is too preoccupied with business and perhaps partying with another celebrity!" Celine is undoubtedly envious as a result of the web news. But since she couldn't tell Leon, she just complained to Luke.

"Come on, we both know my brother... He will never cheat on you..." Luke laughs in response. "And the cure to your monotonous existence is really simple... How about you ask Leon?" He teasedly added.

Celine was taken aback since she hadn't asked Leon since then. Celine turned around and spotted the guy who had been the focus of their chat. "Luke, I'll call you later... goodbye." She didn't bother waiting for his reaction.

"You're early..." Celine inquired as Leon approached her.

"Who's that?" Instead of responding, Celine Leon inquired. Despite the fact that he already knows who is on the other end of the telephone.

"Oh, it's Luke..." Celine said. "Are you preoccupied? May I speak with you for a moment?"

"What is it?" Leon questioned as he went into his office, turning to disguise his irritation.

Celine was nervously following Leon. "With the holiday approaching, we can—"

"I don't celebrate holidays..." Leon cut Celine off in the middle of her sentence.

Celine's grin vanished instantly, replaced by grief. She assumed Leon would agree since their relationship had evolved, but she was mistaken.

"Are you willing to make some exceptions this year? I've been missing my family and the activities we've been doing lately..." Celine says with tears in her eyes.

Leon locks his gaze on Celine. He returned home since he missed her so much, but when he saw Celine smiling while talking to Luke on the phone, he got enraged.

Leon had never been envious in his life... until now! The toughest part is with his brother! "Please..." Celine begged.

Leon signed, "Let me think about it..." Leon's icy and stony heart softened as he saw Celine's cat-eye pleading with him.

Celine couldn't keep from hugging Leon. "Thank you..." she says softly as she kisses him on the cheek.
