Chapter 66

“Celine... wake up.” a soft voice awakened Celine’s sleeping spirit.

She slowly opened her eyes.

Leon, smiling, looked at her while parting her hair.

“L-Leon?” she asked in surprise. She immediately hugged him. Leon also hugged her back tightly.

Celine wondered why Leon felt almost no pain. “How are you feeling? You’re not hurt?”

Leon just smiled at him without answering.

Celine stopped when she saw that Leon’s body was slowly disappearing.

“W-What’s going on? Leon...Leon...”

“Leon!” Celine shouted.

She woke up from a dream. 

She turned to Leon, who was still unconscious. She just cried; she held her husband’s hands and kissed them. Tears flowed down her eyes, and she couldn’t stop the pain she felt.

“Leon...please wake up,” she begged and cried.

(Luke opened the door)

“Celine...”

Celine heard Luke’s voice. But she didn’t look back; she returned her hands to tear Leon’s hair slowly
