Chapter 46

One week later.

It's Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Ajdin parks his car in front of the OB-GYN clinic and steps outside. He waits for Melisa to step outside. They agreed to see a doctor at that clinic at 8:00 in the morning.

Melisa immediately steps out of the car to reach him. When she gets near him, she talks to him.

As Melisa held on to Ajdin's arm, she asked, "Why should we see a doctor here?" "I told you I am not pregnant.".

"You promised we would see a doctor today, right?" Ajdin frowned.

Melisa looked directly into his eyes and replied, "Yeah, but we are wasting time here, I am not pregnant.".

"I just want to make sure," Ajdin said. He raised his eyebrows to her.

"Alright. I understand." Melisa said, feeling nervous even though she knows she is not pregnant.

"So let's get inside the clinic." Ajdin said, holding her hands.
