Chapter 62
His brow was furrowed and his clothes were still the same as when he left.
He looked around, noticing that he was home, and wondered how he had ended up right there.
Slowly, he looked for Emma. She wasn't in bed, in the bedroom or in the living room. But the smell of fresh coffee filled the house and gave it away where she possibly was.
Sebastian straightened up, seeing the gun he'd also taken with him the day before on the bedside table.
He walked sleepily to the kitchen and saw Emma there. The woman was sitting on one of the benches on the island and was oblivious, reading a book about music.
